Going through multiple Design Acceptance Review meetings with the City of Portland, our team developed a plan that met the cities goals for the reconstruction of the Lloyd West Plaza and updated the existing area. With the West Anchor being future leased as a concert venue and offices, our team developed the plaza to withhold large groups of people and allow for outdoor flexibility and events. We created this with an elliptical form that creates small areas for respite and a large central gathering place.
